UNFORTUNATELY you are correct. Over the years (centuries?) we have let the Morality we once heald so dear pass out of our laws. No longer can a person take care of their own problems without fear of being put in jail because THE LAW says you can't beat the sh** out of the scumbag that tried to kidnap your child.

I've heard years ago that some places law had it that IF there was any way possible at all, you had to flee!! You could only use force if there was NO OTHER WAY to get away from them. Sounds really stupid to me. But then I believe a persons got rights that the law doesn't necessarily think they should have.

i think to an extent the law should allow victims to have retribution...then again my thoughts tends to cause waves among most people. western times when that was justified... oh the good ole days.

RETRIBUTION, within certain limits of course, SHOULD be an acceptable part of the law. It would cut down on a lot of crime if the criminals knew that they would get their legs broke as a minimum if they broke into someones house and got caught!

i think pedophiles should be put down upon being found guilty. i dont feel like paying 25 grand a year to keep one of them alive in a fairly comfortable living situation. no job, free food, bed, even tv if theyre lucky, plus they have time to have hobbys like working or working out? get the hell outta here, no way.

Huh. The last time I used my DF, I had put it away wet, literally. Was using it to reduce tree limbs, some of them having been dragged out of the pond. No rust to report. Just spatters of grime on the coating.

Speaking of which, my knife is starting to look a little funny. Coating is worn back from the edge a bit down in the whacking and chopping area and smoothed out. But down near the handle it's still clean and roughened.
