missed the last gun show... what revolver did you sell?

hmm... my dealer is holding $200 that i originally put down for a order but cancelled. i cant say when i may have more to spend on the rifle i want so any suggestions what i should try to use that $200 on?

A Colt Python 4" brl. Nice revolver but I am more a S&W guy. For some reason I shoot a lot better with a Smith. I rarely shot the Colt and figured I might as well turn it into cash since I am hitting a big show in a couple weeks here in OK, the Tulsa Wannamcher show, which is over 5 acres of guns. On top of that a couple buddies and I drive down to Dallas for a show and they always have something I want there LOL.

Really, that sounds like he should have to refund our deposit. What is the circumstances of not getting the rifle? Does he have good prices on ammo, mags, knives, etc?

i gave him the $200 to reserve one of the m1a that he already had on order. i flaked and told him to hang onto the money until i could make up my mind. i may go by his shop and see what he has but nothing caught my eye the last time. i could always do the ammo thing but i still want a rifle of some sort i think.

Understand that. Just depends on what he has and what you are looking for. What made you decide against the M1A? Man, I am glad you moved the DDF too. Otherwise I would be trying to figure out a way for it--especially since i just sold some other stuff and paid off that one bill that was bugging me.

my rifle money went to the imac i just got... been back and forth for almost a year on the rifle and 6 months on the computer. it was down to one or the other. the job thing means i need the computer and the rifle is on the back burner.

nothing really against the m1a. i really think i want the fnar. i saw a few posts pop up about a 16" barrel fnar and i think that's the one i want. ive held the 20" and read so much crap on them that i managed to resell my self on that rifle.

Go for the FN then. Never worth settling for something that you don't want or rather have something else. How much does the 16" brl FNAR go for?

I really want an M1A. One of my dream rifles. Then a garand.
