How do we go about with the logistics of this? Would it be possible to add an extra 5 or 10$ to our DM order or do we have to do a separate paypal transaction? I would love to be part of something like this. It seems there are so many people here interested it will only cost us each a buck fifty. This might make a cool tradition if we could just add a couple of dollars to our order and a knife goes to a wounded vet?

Magnum22, when the d mutt goes on sale i'll order the gift knife before i order my own. i don't see why we would use anything but paypal. it's easy, secure, and free.. That's a good idea.. then just put Gravel's shipping info on that first order. Just an FYI.. PayPal charges fees of: 2.9% + $0.30 1.0% 'Cross Border fee' if funds from outside USA

Copy Magnum: Then you post the total amount divided by people who Honor Gravel face and we send the funds via Pay Pal to you at once. EASY!!!
Nothing could be simpler. Be sure in the excitement to post your "Send Money" to address when you let everyone know their share OK? Good job jumping on this Mag, GF deserves this Mutt and a big HUG from all of us for his call of duty. As I told Kraz just today, it's easy to spot Hero's. They are all around us. Victor is one of my Hero's as well. A distinguished Vet whom also answered the call of duty and has put his life in the eye of the enemy. We will never forget our Hero's. That is what makes the Scrap Yard so great. You all have my deepest respect and admiration from the bottom of my heart. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" />
We love you all.
Peace. & Co.

i thought the 3% was only if you wanted a check. if you leave the funds in your payapal account and spend it from there, there should be no problem. am i mistaken?

It depends on what kind of account you have and what the originating payment type is. For example, I use a credit card to send paypal payments. There will be fees on your side to accept it. Thats why you always see the paypal +4% or +3.5% in the exchange ads.

ok i whipped out the spreadsheet.. Say..
$69.95 Dumpster Mutt $ 0.00 Shipping (thanks to Dan) $ 0.00 Sheath (thanks to Leatherface & Honeybear) ------ $69.95 Total / 28 people = $2.51 each (before PayPal fees)
To cover PayPal fees we'll need..:
>> $2.89 Each <<-- This is what Everyone PayPals Magnum22 when he says so.
To be fair.. we've averaged it so Everyone pays in the Same amount.. (Bigocean was Right! with SO many participants the difference was fractions of 1 penny!)
> Magnum22, That's it then 28 people, Dan has announced 24-hr Notice. Magnum22, do you want to post or PM your PayPal E-mail address? And we'll start PayPaling you? $2.89 Each, for 28 people!
[Just for my reference] (2.9% + $0.30) inside U.S.A. (3.9% + $0.30) outside U.S.A.
