Those results don't surprise me too much.

What does surprise me is they thought they were two totally different knives. I would have figured you could give them a BWM and DFCG and people would have said "aren't they the same thing?"

Me either........in all fairness one was black/black and other black/tan. Remember- these folks are just folks- not knife people. A few were- but not many. I had to be kinda careful they didn't cut themselves <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" />. Still-was fun <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

IMO the Regs are like two different knives. (TT/Overun) The Wardens are very nice- but if you have big paws like I do <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />- you will need to get some good wraps on them like MB and others did <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />. Did ya get a Howler ? I actually like it more than the RMDs. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> I am going to mod both and also strip and convex the Regs. On the snaps- just keep working them-they will loosen up <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />.Congrats on your steel Jeff <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />!

Unfortunately I did not get a Howler. I might order one though, this time with a black or tanker blade and a black paper handle to match up with my HCLE and M9LE.

I do have decent size hands, but my problem has to do with gripping and the way I have had a few boxer's fractures over the years. I figure with the wrap I will be able to hold onto it better. Got some od green para but want some orange and digi cord.

As to the Reg, Dereg, and TT Reg. I love the feel of the TT Reg. TO me it slices through the air, swings well and seems to be a good fighter. The Reg is really nice, seems to be more of a pack knife to me as with the added weight forward it "seems" like it will chop better and still dice and slice. The Dereg, man in hand it feels really great. I love the way you can use the choil now, and for some reason it feels closer to the swinging the TT and it does have more forward weight for light chopping. Hopefully in the next couple weeks I will get out and have some fun with them.

I agree with you about the Regs Ordawg, I will know more once I put the new Regs through the paces.

Yes- I have pounded on a pair and now thinking about stripping and convex <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />. Wonder how hard it is to pull ResC and replace tubes with solid ? Or possible ?
Paper is NICE- but the canvas does grip. You can sand on that a bit though <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />. Congrats to all.You have yours Seth <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />? Correct?
From the sound of it as long as you have a good vice, press, and skill it should not be too bad. I bet that would look awesome with a solid stud in place of the tube.

I love canvas micarta for working but black paper is sexy <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
