Bob... You have been reading the posts and just LURKING!! How dare you!!!
I did the same thing for about 3 months. I don't know why I waited now. The people here are as you have read. From all walks of life, real people who just plain love steel. The cost to value ratio here in the Yard is the finest in the world I believe. The Busse's sell their blades at a cost the makes one wonder if they have only robots and no employees at all. The steel is ridiculous, the value is almost theft, and the fellowship and truth shared here at the Forum makes one believe in a different time again. Back when values and tradition mattered. I am proud to greet you Nevada Bob. Any man who would break his silence to step up and give freely to a man he has never met, is a man of value and tradition as well. Very glad you joined to post Bob,do NOT let this be a one time thing. People here need real people like you to keep the Yard fresh and interesting. And something tells me you have some stories to share. Welcome.
Peace.

Thanks for coming out of the shadows Bob! And there is not much I can add after POP introduced the Yard.....Kind of like following Led Zeppelin with an acoustic rendition of Mary Had a Little Lamb.........
But, thanks for coming to the Dog Show!!!!

I'm IN - Let me know when/how to make my contribution.
If i might make a suggestion, we could collect a minimum amount (Say $10.00) and give the residual to some worthy Veteran's advocacy group?

There is a group I donate to called Wounded Warrior Project. http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/site/c.iqLTI2OBKlF/b.1109075/k.9013/Headquarters.htmThey actually gave me my first bit of clothing after I was injured. All I had was a blanket and a black sock for 3 days(Right after getting hit, they cut off all my clothes except 1 black sock...I still have it .....they actually even sent back the DCU pants I was wearing and the patches from my uniform). In Germany, they gave me a Back pack and some sweats in it, a CD player and some books. Also like 150 to buy some clothes and food.

I love this Community......the Swamp is a great place also, but it has slowed down over there. This place is active 24 hours a day.....Diceman holding it down all night long! And everyone during the day...I am starting to think no one has jobs and this is what we do.

Good man, 5 years ago I was hit by a van on a jobsite and lost 1/2 of my right leg among other injuries, but it took alot to get back into life again fighting with the insurance company and L and I. So I can see where you are coming from .

You all are a great bunch of dogs! See ya around the water dish. Welcome to the yard Good luck at your first feeding
