Hi everyone! I've kind of lurked here for a couple months, love all the stuff (and blades) that goes on here. Had to register for this one. Add me to your list, please. You all are a great bunch of dogs! See ya around the water dish.

Hello Nevada Bob,

Welcome to the yard. I don't post much. I'm a bit shy but still always feel like a part of the family when I do. I can't think of a better way to introduce yourself. The yard is definately a special place .

Thank you guys, I unfortunately have a really crazy schedule and travel a lot. I just don't get a chance to interact on the forum as much as I would like to. I usually can't spend more than a few minutes lurking, but every now and then I can post a pic or two. If I'm able to get in on the Mutt frenzy, I will post some brags and pics. If not I know most of those who do will share the joy by posting some action shots.

I am really looking forward to seeing Gravelface’s Pics (hint) I hope his Mutt is heavily used and abused. This gesture of support and gratitude to him runs deeply for me to symbolize the feelings of many of us toward all of our veterans and active duty personnel who have sacrificed for the ideas and principals that have made this country so great. The sacrifice of personal and financial dreams, family hardship, physical and mental pain and suffering (to name a few) is a tremendous amount for any individual to serve up for so many others to continue a comfortable life of freedom and choices. There is an equal share of gratitude in my soul for every single individual who has made that sacrifice in every branch of service to this country. I personally know that knowing there are those "out there" that care and show any gesture of support, can make all the difference in the world on an individual's inner peace and outlook in a given situation.

A symbolic gesture may seem small to some, but in this case a symbol represents an idea and concept of support and caring not just in this forum, but in a spirit that founded this country.

So once again Gravel face, thank you and all of our brothers and sisters out there and everywhere for services to all who are privileged to call this country their home.

I'm IN - Let me know when/how to make my contribution.

If i might make a suggestion, we could collect a minimum amount (Say $10.00) and give the residual to some worthy Veteran's advocacy group?

SALEX - EXCELLENT IDEA. (and welcome to the yard)

KS Jump - good to see you again!

Bob - welcome to the Yard!

Since we do have so many on the list for Jason's DM - I'm down for the 5 or 7 or 10 bucks and the excess going to the Wounded Warrior Project, as that seems to be Jason's charitable organization of choice - and I'd feel good donating to an organization that helped one of our JYD's in his time of need. That way - if more dogs jump in at the last minute (as is happening - and its great!!) we don't have to refigure #'s and all of that, and everyone that wants to contribue is still able to.

Again, I propose that we go w/ Salex's idea - pick an ammount, probably $7 or $10, take care of Gravelface's Dumpster Mutt, and send the excess to the Wounded Warrior Project. If this seems fair to everyone, make mention of it - Magnum22 is the head of this project, so it will ultimately be his decision. Those that can't contribute say $10 can still just do a couple of bucks and every little bit would count.

Obviously, this will all hinge on Mag's "Yes" or "No," but I think that it is a great idea from one of our new Dogs. Thanks again for the input Salex.
