not a religious man, eh sumo? Brought up Southern Baptist, married a Pentecostal woman, like the Methodist church, and can ID with the Catholic church the best. Through all my studies of religion Islam seemed to be a nice religion until I really started looking at it, and the thers did not speak to me. I am religious but not in a normal fashion. If the thought is as bad as the action what the hey. I mean, if I were sitting in church thinking aobut being outside why should i not be outside thanking the Lord for making something so beautiful to enjoy?

Jeeps are cheap to build. No need for a garage. for 5 grand you can have/build a great trail rig. 2 grand will get you a wrangler with a decent drive train and build as you go. lift kits run 300 to $1500 and tires are the biggest expense. You can go crazy. I'm at the point with mine now that anyhting mor and it will be a trail only rig. I am seriously considering rolling a set of Dana 60's under it with some 37's and a custom suspension. But it would defeat the purpose of having a second 4x4 for street use in the winter.

ah. yeah, i find it easy to identify with other churches better than my own as well. more in service than in doctrine. just the way you referred to it as a friday night rather than Good Friday made it seem like you were unaware.

I believe there is a Heaven and Hell. What I do in this world will make a difference in if I get to Heaven. Growing up Southern Baptist it is once saved always saved. I don't really believe that. I did things when I was younger, not horrible bad but things, that make me think that I need to try and better humanity in any way I can. I was lucky, I lived, graduated high school, college, got married, and have a good job where as 4 friends did not get the chance to even graduate high school. No fault of their own except at the wrong place at the wrng time. Lets just say I struggled for a while in even believing. Between the loss of friends, a serious injury to myself that cost me a D1 scholarship, and my wife with a brain tumor I have had "doubts". I am not supposed to understand, just do the best with what i have. Know what I mean.

I will keep an eye out. Sounds feasible and still be able to buy Bussekin and the occasional gun..............and ammo.

I am not supposed to understand, just do the best with what i have. F*^& yeah. my entire "personal" religion can basically be boiled down to Matt 5, 6, & 7. Just a great code to live by and the reason I follow the man who spoke those words. I have not enjoyed many things that most people would find harmless, purely for the purpose of being consistent (all or nothing), not because I think it's wrong.

Yes, I knew it is Good Friday. The thing is that the Catholic Church, not that it is non-understandable made this time of year the death of Jesus when it is the time of his birth. Now, that we have splinter groups of the Catholic Church and other non-denominations, the original Catholic Church established religious holidays based on Pagen holidays so the Church would have more converts. Sorry if I am rambling, the educator in me is coming out LOL.
