Do ya use them or ? I am looking for another handgun to lash to my pack when I hike up here in Oregon. Within 5 minutes of the house I have seen large cat tracks ( mt lion) on my last three hikes. I want something fast- light and powerful. Budget is solid- just want to be able to get to it quick so probably going to have someone do a kydex rig for me. Any suggestions on handgun ?

My dad has the Dan Wesson bobtail commander, it is such a nice pistol.
I have the Springfield XD-45 Tactical and love it it was just $517 out the door and with 13+1 of 230 grn of +P you should be able to take care of any critters intending to do you harm

Thanks Guys- I am looking for something just about like that and it might be the one. Yes- I already carry either the DFLE or the TT Reg strapped to my pack. My cotractor killed a 170 pound cat right on the hill behind the house. I live smack dab in great country plus I hike/jog at least 7 miles per day. Sooner or later I am going to have somewhat of a problem-Thanks Again
