I got my S5 today in the mail. I figured it would be today or tomorrow since I got the ship confirmation yesterday. Initial thoughts:
Good:
Nice coating but mine came with a few little scratches in the finish.
Sharp, not shaving hair sharp, but a lot better than some other SY knives I have got.
Mudders, nice feel in the hand but I knew that from the MP, BD, and MUK
Green handle, not too green and easy on the eye
Gray blade, almost a black and not too light.

Not so good:
Mentioned scratches--not a real big deal since it will ride in a kydex sheath and a camera will not pick them up--at least my cheap digital.
Balance, blade heavy towards the front for me. I have broke my right hand several times and I have very little use of my pinky or ring finger. Just a lot of blade out front for the balance point.
No use for me to rush out and take pics since mine came in so late compared to others.

Right now I have to say it is a nice blade, but I can not say it is my favorite from the Yard. To be honest, I am not sure I will get a LE if it is offered unless it is Infi or I can get my JYD#. We will see though.

Sumo glad you got yours. I hope you do some field tests on it. Gotta say i love this blade perfect size for general work.

Congrats on the S5, I got mine yesterday, and I hope I can find a few minutes today to get outside a play with it for a few minutes.

I really like mine. If I could change a few things about the S5 (NOTHING is WRONG with it, but I have personal preferences that I'd like), it would have a longer guard and a 'talon hole'. Like I said, those are just personal preferences. I really, really like these.

I like mine as well. But I don't want kydex. I'm leaning towards a leather pouch sheath with a pocket clip.
