Sweet pics.
This is my first piece of SR101 that I have sharpened. (Still cant get myself to beat up that M9...) This steel takes an edge that makes scalpels jealous.
Crazy sharp.

Too funny HD. I still haven't had at least one of my S5s more than 10 feet away from me since I received them. I LOVE these knives.

wow that sage coating is much tougher than the black on clint's ss4! lol! nice pics though... i suspect that will pop a few times when people ask about the S5 in the coming years. "Yup... and Horn Dog batoned his through this tree like it was nothing!" "i'll take it for $250!!!" Inspired by the intense wood splitting done by El Clintor with his SS4, I decided to see what the S5 could do. I was stunned and amazed! I split this oak tree down the middle, after climbing to the top with the S5 in my teeth. Not an easy thing for a man of my age and weight. ![[Linked Image from i173.photobucket.com]](http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w64/rivershaman/Summer038.jpg) ![[Linked Image from i173.photobucket.com]](http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w64/rivershaman/Summer039.jpg) ![[Linked Image from i173.photobucket.com]](http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w64/rivershaman/Summer040.jpg) And unlike El Clintor's SS4, the coating on my Scrapper 5 was unscathed! ![[Linked Image from i173.photobucket.com]](http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w64/rivershaman/Summer041.jpg) Well, maybe it was split by a thunderstorm, but it looks good to me!

"i'll take it for $250!!!" Yeah, I'm counting on that. As nice as the Scrapper 5 is, it's no match for a bolt of lightning.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Horn Dog didn't baton the tree. He kept the Scrapper in his teeth as he drove the blade through the tree and rode it all the way down.

Vic, you funny man. I bet that was a hard climb up, but the commando drop was easy!

He kept the Scrapper in his teeth as he drove the blade through the tree and rode it all the way down. I just love the way the mudder handle doesn't show teeth marks. This technique is only for skilled professional knife testers in peak physical condition. Don't you try this at home.
