An adjunct to a larger chopper for small/delicate-ish tasks or an absolute minimum solo bush blade. Some thing unobtrusive, but still a "real knife" (you could cut/split firewood, build a shelter with it at a pinch) that can go into a smallish survival pouch or a day pack.
A bit like what the bushcraft crowd call a bushcraft knife.
Can't over emphasise how happy I am with the size. Exactly what I was hoping for

+1 That's why I love mine so much.

I think Vegemite may be the only thing that voids the Scrap Yard warranty...

LOL. I cant say that I have had Vegemite but I am sure your warranty is just fine

Don't need to worry about the warranty, the finish held up just fine!

It was recently in the papers here, that they are going to manufacture a diluted version of vegemite - I think it will be mixed with cream cheese from memory - for the US market.

The US: weak vegemite, weak beer - but strong knives.

After listening to Men at Work in the eighties I wanted to try Vegemite. Once I got my chance to taste it I cursed that band for a long time!
