Mods look good. I just had a thought, I might need to start getting an extra blade to mod for the fun! Am I sick dog?

I wouldn't say sick, I love moding my equipment, but I do sometimes get nervous about messing things up. Having an extra to play with can be a good thing.

Duplicates are good, if one is broken, dull, in the shop or whatever you have another that will perform the same way.

With no thumb ramp and that polished spine my first impression was SS4! Nice job Vic. I'm sure Bruce will be happy. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

As is, the SOD and S5 handles fit my hands. If they were slightly larger then I would probably smooth off the front/bottom of Res-C to give that extra quarter inch that KnifeGuy is talking about.

I like the looks of the knife ramp and guard, but the utility comes into play while poking, plunging, stabbing. Those extended points could deflect anything incoming better than without them, I would think.

One of the things i like about Horn Dogs stuff is , He isnt worried about labels and
names staying on the blade. Finds a good steel and works it.. Hell Yeah!!
(oops can we say that in here? )( Thats a good Band)Anyway, Nothing wrong with
a little mod. Adds character and we all learn from the each other.!!
If it wasnt working, it wasnt no count anyway!!

Great lookin S5, I too like my thumb ramp. I have debated on removing it. This is where I SHOULD have gotten two. One so I can remove the ramp and make mods and the other to have as is and compare.
