OP pitman Junk Yard Dog Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 2,795 Vancouver Island, B.C	Headed off out with Mrs Pit again while we left our son sleeping in his Pit after a late night X-Boxing !!!! On the way to the beach Maisy suddenly lunged down the bank into the undergrowth nearly taking me with her !!!! This was the reason, she can smell a bloody ball from miles away.... Once on the beach I checked around for Bear tracks..... Mrs Pit had come prepared, she felt safer with the Chopweiler !!!! I wasn't so well prepared but I can't leave this [censored] TTSK alone ! No bears on the beach but we hadn't been back on the road long when we came across this guy..... Now we needed gas and can you believe this was the only pump for miles around !!!!! With gas in the tank we made it to a nice coffee stop...... We stopped off at one more beach before heading home...

When I was younger I used to work my cousins shake claim near Campbell River in the summers. Saw lots of bears, didn't make much money as I would go there for a month and we would go out get a cord then somehow we wound up fishing instead of getting a second cord. My aunt and cousin both passed away in the early 1990's and I haven't been back since the funerals. But man Pit those pictures always bring back great memories thanks Mate The stripes of a tiger don't wash away. Be a man of steel not clay JYD #102
