ALright, I'll just take some silly guesses about the influences for Hidalgo: Andres Segovia, Ennio Morricone, Ottmar Liebert, and Gypsy Kings.

Do I win?

I would have never guessed those.

I did preface my guesses with the word "silly".

Late night crew indeed! Evolute, you've been blessed with the opportunity to hear some of Magnum's music!

You should hear him shread though, absolutely incredible. The guy is just hugely diverse and pulls off quite a few different styles flawlessly!

I think I'm really going to bed now... very soon!

Not silly, I've just never heard of them. Well, except for the Gypsy Kings. I'm really bad with names, so while I may have heard their music, their name is meaningless to me.

Ted,

You've heard their music, you just didn't who it was. For example, Ennio Morricone did the musical score for the soundtrack to The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.

Everybody's heard that.

Oh, and if the guesses above are wrong, then I'm changing my guesses to Jimi Hendrix, Eddie Van Halen, David Gilmour, and Tony Iommi.

BTW, has anyone here tried Barenjager? It’s like mead with a kick! You can see it in that pic next to the small bottle of kalua on the right side. It has a top shaped like a bee hive. It’s from Germany and is 70 proof. It’s nice to add to hot tea and stuff like that. It says it’s traced to the middle ages where it was used to help capture bears that raided beehives by getting them drunk so they were easier to kill. I’ve not seen it in many liquor stores, but it’s pretty good. That little bottle was like $20 I think.

I found a bottle of Johnny Walker Blue today for about $226....I am just curious what the hell does this stuff do.....I know I can have a prrreetyyy good time for that much and not suffer a hangover the next morning!

Excellent stuff Gravel!! I have a half bottle left from my wedding and recommend it highly.
