It is diseased Red Bay. A beetle infects it with a fungus that kills the tree. I am losing all of them. It does look nice.

Another Great Job Horn Dog. Ya know I keep wanting to do a chop off but I am perfectly content to let you burn those calories <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />. I am in complete agreement on the NMSFNO being a HECK of a chopper for its size. I have used mine thoroughly and find it more than enough knife on most occasions.
