...at least he likes knives...wait a minute, is something that size legal in Kali? As a residence of Kalifornia I have to add that the Governator has shown a lot of courage in his confrontation with a state legislature that will not face the economic reality. The man has earned my respect. Being the governor of California right now has got to be one of the worst jobs in the US. He should be made an honorary Dog and should be sent a proper knife (nice DFLE with Governator engraved). In my humble opinion.
No matter where you go.....There you are.

No limit on blade length for folders or fixed blade knives. Fixed blade knives MUST be worn on the belt unconcealed, but there is no length limit. The is an older man here in town that goes for his evening walk with a katana. Sheeple call the cops on him all the time, but there is nothing they can do unless he brandishes it. Any length folder can be concealed or open carry. Local ordinances can and do apply, but as a state the laws are not bad for knife owners.

Have a fun and safe time in California, Boots. ...California as a state has really decent knife laws. I need Rainwalker to make me a Waki sheath so I can carry mine on my walks (except in the Regional Park). Georgia law permits open carry of knives and such. I can't let an eccentric old man in California out do me now, can I?
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

That would be something to see. How do you fight a guy with a sword? A gun? Another sword? Hopefully no melons will be sneaking up from behind you.

Can you carry automatic and ballisongs?

Dang, Vic I was not trying to copy your wording--guess I should read all statements before posting LOL.
In OK, we have messed up laws on carrying fixed blades, and even folders if they wanted to be real picky. It goes back to when OK was being settled and before statehood. The governing body did not want the Indians or those "ruffians" to have blades, alcohol, or even guns. Know where the term bootlegger comes from, yep, the guys sneaking a bottle into OK or Indian Territory to make a profit LOL. Now, you can not legally make or sell moonshine in OK, but you can up to two quarts in your possession. Go and figure????

Spend lots of $ while you're there, Arnold needs the money. Ohio has screwed up knife laws too. Some cities have 2.5" folder limits. I don't know about fixed blades. I would think as long as it's not concealed, you might be OK. My sheaths will be drop loops, or danglers in case I run into town. I can carry my SIG concealed, but can't wear a neck knife. Go figure.
