I had to clean "my precious" after the waki whacking. I touched up the edge a bit too.

It was good enough to cut grass and palmettos and chop down trees! I didn't reprofile it, just sharpened and polished it some.

I have got to come to Georgia someday and take some sharpening lessons

If you don't sharpen your axe from time to time, you will soon be chopping with a hammer. JYD #81

Lookin good!!

Tomorrow at work is going to KILL me. Not going to be able to get to mine until afterwards.

Still trying to figure out how to show these to the fiance...gonna have to tell her they were only $50 each. Normally she makes suggestions like "I think we need to get another gun safe." but with the wedding coming up next year, she thinks that we should be saving up for that. Ill be damned if I was going to miss out on a Bussekin sword, no matter what.

And I will still get a few SY47s too, when they come out next month........;)

Horn Dog you're a funny dude. You get all the knives I wish I could. You ever consider making your own? You don't do you?

Why should I make knives? Busse, Swamp Rat, Scrap Yard, Bark River, Condor, and others make plenty. I just buy them, sharpen them, and whack things with them.

Samurai Yard Man confused my 3 yr old. I just showed him the photos and he said, "that's not Horn Dog!"

He loves your avatar...cracks me up...

Awesome photos like always. Congrats on that big bad boy! What ya gonna match against it??
