I was going to ask the same question...I really prefer the darker looking tan micarta handles.

I actually like the lighter tan micarta, I think it looks better with the sage.

I'd keep number 2, at least.

There is actually that much variation. Two of the tan canvas handles have more of a red tint.

you dont see moss around that much & i kinda like it!

I like the moss a lot, too. I got one of my S5's in moss, thinking that would be the one I'd give to my younger brother, but when they came, I liked the moss so much that I offered him his choice, and wasn't sad at all when he asked for the tanker gray.

I agree. I thought about using mineral spirits on it but have decided against it for the moment.

BTW, my tan handle is like the number 3, sage blade. Same combo. I am wondering if all the sage blade/tan handle combos material came from the same lot which ensures the same color combo?
