Could someone who has participated in one of these before please explain briefly how they work? I have never done a Ganza before and just want to know what I am doing when it is time on Wednesday night.

Thanks. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Jerry will post specs and pics in advance along with a general starting time, usually between 9:00 and 10:00 PM. He will instruct you how to word your email along with addresses to send it too. When he posts go send your email and it is first come first served. You have probably heard us referencing F5F5F5 in the past, everybody is refreshing their screens waiting on the go signal. This is all done on the Busse forum at Blade forums. Be aware that there will be a lot of fake jerrys trying to fool people as well as bring up threads from old gaanzas and this is all part of the fun. If you shoot off your email early you go to the end of the line.

Here's a description of the 'Ganza process that I wrote about a year ago: How to buy a Busse family knife.

Here's the MOAB announcement (MOAB!!!... Mother Of All That Is Holy!!!!!!... Yowza!!!!), but if you want one, expect to dig deep -- in that same thread, you'll find that they were released for $2197.00 (+ tax) at the last Knob Creek.

[color:"red"]BREAKING NEWS:[/color] The latest announcement is that a limited number of saber-ground tan Dog Fathers will be available, as well as Swamp Rat "Vex" (Vexilarus) and "scalpel"-style HACKs -- LardoGanzaaaaa... Scrap Yard & Swamp Rat Are Coming To Throw Down At The Hoe Down!

I would love the tan DF but I am broke as a joke. No money for steel or sheahts. Oh well, I have got a lot of steel from the Yard and Swamp this summer. You guys have fun and good luck.

Thanks Jim and CP. I hope to pick up a Vex...maybe a tan DF. If I'm lucky, i won't win anything though and my wallet will be very happy. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

I'm going to try for at least one, the DF and maybe some others depending on the prices. I've never done a Ganza, are the prices higher or lower than "normal"?

I've been successful in scoring at the last two (my only two) ganzas that Scrap Yard has offered...I think the Mud Puppy and the Yard Keeper. Tonight I'll go for the tan/tan DF and the SR Vex. Good luck to everybody going for it!
