Not yet but there is a Carbon Fiber s90v Manix II.

That sounds pretty wicked! I'm really liking the oldschool 154cm on the Emersons and Benchmade. It is really easy to get shaving sharp and holds a decent edge.

My ideal combo for big knife and folder would have to be a DFLE and my Spyderco Mini Manix2.

Big knife small knife (non-folder) would be DFLE and S5. I really like my S5.

The one knife scenario would always be my grail knife, my Camp Tramp.

Cheers

Mini manix vs manix 2 vs mini manix 2? Is there a mini manix 2?

I don't own either. But from the pictures I've seen the manix 2 is the same size as the original mini-manix. Still AWOL is the full size manix 2.

Tolly got me into the SAK's and though I like my Spydie Endura I gotta go with the SAK. As for fixed, I'm thinking the DDF. That way I'm covered on all fronts.

During the work week, lately its been a Busse HS and a SAK Compact during the day and a Benchmade 710HS and the SAK at night. On the weekend around the house its a S6, the 710 and the SAK but sometimes its a BRKT Bravo 2 or a Sandstorm A in the fixed blade catagory. I've got too many to stick with one combo. After I make sheaths for the S5 and DDF I'll be using them in the rotation.

If there were no sheeple or legal restrictions I think a Busse FSH would be cool on my side, along with a 5-6" like an S5, S6, B1, Sandstorm, etc. and a smaller multi-tool/folder. 2 is 1, 1 is none, right...?

I like this combination of a SAK and a R2 Damascus Steel 3 3/4 inch fixed blade by Hiro Itou of Japan...the sheath fits into a pocket of either a jacket or jeans...and it's a handy combination for most situations. That R2 Steel takes a scalpel sharp edge and really holds it. I have used it to lance scalps and remove sists...it will do the work of a scalpel no problem.

For further a field I like these three for belt kit use....

The FSH variant is perfect for me .... although a bit expensive....the Benchmade lock knife and the larger SAK have been all over the world with me and stand me "nothing"....a lock knife like this and a SAK can handle most every thing in normal circumstances...the FSH deals with the rest <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
