I paid late (last thursday) so I have no idea I am guessing this coming up week paid last wednesday and i hope ya get it soon very good news, so there is hope today or possibly Monday that it should be here along with my Waki sheath which I might say turned out bad a$$, can't wait I hate to ask,and im shure the answer wont help, but is the waki worth it. I only ask cuz ive had a really hard time deciding wether to buy it or not. Please tell me the details about its usefullness and practicality, and compare it to the dog for me please.ive always wanted a sword and i absolutely love the looks of the waki, and know im gonna regret not buying it,but the sticker price is a little steep for me right now. All things cosidered im shure for what your getting its a heck of a deal. Anyways details please!

It is every bit as practical as the KZ, FFBM, MOAB, NMFBM...... Well actually, it might be more practical than those. It can be used as the most expensive machete on earth!
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

The G10 is prettier but the micarta grips better for me. Not a small consideration in this squalid summer heat.

One reason I purchased the G10 version is because it seems to me it will show a lot less ware over time. I could be wrong in this but since it is the single most expensive knife/sword I am likely to be able to get for a very long time, this is an important factor for me. Besides if I am going to burn that much capital on something really just for fun I want to get it to my personal specs, this includes the two tone G10.

That is a good point cuz i do like the two toned G-10 as well especially since i dont have any yet on a busse knife, and i agree with you if your gonna spend that much on a knife you may as well get what you want instead of just settling to save a few bucks. One thing i dont understand is why it costs so much more for the G10 versus micarta. I've bought both for knifes and the price difference for the material is not that much more, especially when buying it in bulk.

IMHO, the high cost of multi-colored G10 is for the same reason Busse charges an extra $200 for a satin knife with a number stamped into it....
Brilliant marketing

Then again i guess ya really can't complain though, because what youre getting for the price in any of these busse family knives is nothing short of incredible.I hope that the quality and price never changes. When i first learned of busse knifes it was by sheer dumb luck, and i didnt know my bum from my elbow about knifes. It was when the economy just started getting really bad,and in a panic i started buying food storage and started putting together survival packs.I know you're probably thinking what a freak right.Anyways i was looking for a knife that me and my family could depend our lives on literally. So i heard that a buddy of mine(fast camo)was into making knifes,so i thought what better person to ask i bet he would know of a knife. Shure enuf he did and he told me if you want a knife you can depend on then you want a busse family knife. Then he told me the price, the difference about the variouse kinds of steels, what products are out there, how to make a knife, and why i should buy a busse family knife. At first i must say i was sticker shocked, but to find out later what a heck of a deal youre getting(and lets face it when you're famalies lives are depending on that thing price is no object) i bought one from him called the dumpster mutt. It was love at first sight and has developed into an addiction ever since.

Nice story Lowder. I think many of us have used that same logic and feel fortunate to have found this place.
