I am not afraid for myself, but one of my daughters lives in the 'hood. She needs a handgun, but at 18, she can't get a permit yet. Of course, these killings didn't happen in the high crime area, but out it the country. New Hope Plantation is out near the Altamaha River in what we considered a tranquil area. I noticed that my other daughter who lives with me had her YKLE right by her bed. I have the Waki handy for close quarters defense. Oh yeah.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

What a horror show. Is it true that a baby was at the house and is missing? They letting out an info about the attack/attackers, motive, crime scene?

The Chief just isn't forthcoming with any information. I have some friends in law enforcement, and they assure me he is on top of this. It is frustrating, though.

That's horrible Vic. I hope they pay...they will eventually, one way or the other. I'm sure if guns were involved the anti-gunners will be using this to try and force their views about this is why guns need to be outlawed, etc. etc. I'm sure people that are willing to commit such an atrocious crime as this would be law abiding when it comes to gun laws, right? Not to mention, it removes the innocents right to defend themselves. Anyway- done with rant and I certainly hope these wackjobs are caught so they can pay for their crimes here on Earth before burning in a lake of fire for all eternity.

You and your family stay safe Vic. Also please try and be extra sharp outside of the home. It's comforting to know that you are prepared on the inside of your domain. Be well.

This town is in shock. We had two murders within the last two weeks, one at a Pizza Hut. Now eight have been found killed in a local mobile home park. A ninth victim is on life support. Some of the victims were children. I have been to that park, as a co-worker with the City lived out there. It was a quiet place, not like some parks. It was called New Hope Plantation, but a lady I know calls it No Hope Plantation. We don't know who did it, maybe gangs or something. I suppose that those who live in larger cities are more used to such, but it is very unsettling to the folks here. The police don't seem to know who is responsible. I guess no place is a safe neighborhood nowadays. That is so terribly sad. we will put a prayer in for the families Last week, a couple of streets over a home owner shot and killed a an intruder. When the police arrived they found a Mary Jane farm of 200 plants in the home owners basement...and this is one of the safest places to live...unreal Everyone be aware of your surroundings and be safe Dan

The world we are living in now just seems to be getting worse and worse and it saddens me and makes me feel even worse thinking about how bad its gonna get for my children. Ya know i can remember a time here in quite ol utah when i would watch the news and never hear anything about gangs or shootings and such, but nowadays it seems as though that is all i hear about. One bad thing after the next.Vic I think one of your previouse posts about wishing things could go back to the ways they used too be was spot on and i couldnt agree with you more. you've got my prayers commin your way vic. god bless vic

Wow, That is horrible Vic. Make me sick just thinking about it. Some very whacked people out there.
Unfortunately, I think we will be hearing about more and more sad events like this with the way things are going these days. Too many nut jobs running around inside the borders these days who don't give a rat's arse about dropping someone for a dime. LE is up to their ears, and the polititians would rather prevent lawful citizens from protecting themselves than keeping the criminals locked up. Better to be prepared and safe then sorry.

A year ago my wife, a completly Libtard sheeple type, would have nothing, I mean NOTHING to do with firearms. After hearing too many H/I stories, she agreed to get some pro training, I've had her to the range and tomorrow she is applying for her LTC/CCW. She also now carries a blade. Got her and my daughter taking martial arts. Both gradeschool kids now have their own pellet rifles and are learning how to shoot. If any fools come preying on my family, they won't be coming back.

Ok, I'll get off my soapbox now.
