I wish they made the khaki (tan, coyote brown whatever you want to call it) color. I guess that's one thing you sacrifice.

Or you could pay 60 bucks for COLOR! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" />

more color choices would be nice, but as long as the quality is there and it's functional green, black or camo are good enough choices in my opinion

Looks like a good deal. Sometimes more dollars doesn't mean better quality. Even when I get a good deal, I think of the saying "Buy quality, cry once, buy crap, cry twice." Paraphrase. lol

I like my Jumbo S. But I like a good deal too.

Wow, that is scary identical. I was able to trade into my Jumbo for about 30 bucks and I got a deal in my opinion. Looking at these pics makes me wonder if there is really a 60 buck retail difference? Like you said, time will tell. Looking forward to more reviews.

It'll be interesting to have a side by side comparison. Looking forward to it.

I got my UTG Tactical Messenger bag on Friday (aka Jumbo Versipack on this thread). I couldn't be happier. It's the exact same color as Joe's and as near as I can tell it seems to be as good of a quality pack as the MaxPed packs.

I thought it would be more expensive. Is it comfortable?

It is very comfortable. I had it loaded to the gills as well as a full 32 oz of water in the bottle pocket. It was as comfortable as any maxped veripack. The zippers seemed tough so far. But I've only carried it on a couple short hikes. I'll write up more when I've used it more.
