Jerry has been posting some teaser pics over on bladeforums - looks like there's going to be a whole series of mil overrun knives in the new desert sand finish, plus some other pretty nifty stuff. Dan has already hinted that there will be SY knives in never-before-offered color combos, and who knows what Swamp Rat will have at the table...


So my question for you Dogs is - what's on your menu for BLADE West? Are you gonna be there? Have you secured a proxy? From the teasers we've gotten, what knives are YOU hoping to score???

I haven't secured my proxy yet, and might wait until after day 1 when there have been some pics posted. I'm hoping for something with TAC handles from Busse, with the desert sand finish. I am seriously doubting the bushwhacker or sar8 will be available at blade west at all, let alone in the CG finish I'm hoping for, so I probably won't be able to score any of those. That just leaves the swamp and yard, and I haven't seen any indications that there will be anything from either that I'm going for... yet <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

I'll be there on Friday. I don't have the scratch to indulge in any Infi, unless perhaps there's a S5LE on the table..especially one with a unique handle. I already have one coming direct from SYKC.

I wouldn't mind a Vex, and a BDLE or Muk w/ black mudders would be hard for me to pass up. More than anything I'm going for the experience, as this will be my first time at a Blade show.

There are a few knives that I would like to snag if they are there. Mostly SYKC... I want in on anything green! I also have my dad's birthday coming up and would like to get him a really nice machete or something he can use in his yard. I of course need to find a proxy though.

If nothing turns up I won't be sad. I need to start a Blade 2010 change jar anyways...

that's what I was thinking! If there is a muk with black handles I'll be begging for a proxy! I love my Muk! Muk, Bird Dog, S5LE black handle set!!! You can plan to bury those with me.
