i just picked up a bird dog and i love it ... i do think MM is right on a thiner blade , and a full width grind with a little more flexability and it would be perfect for this moutian boy....

Nice scores. Is that tequila sunrise on that handle??? Yep but not the normal pattern, looks like it was cut a little different. There were some black paper and satin with black paper but I didn't pull the trigger fast enough. I will more likely use the tequila sunrise over BP.
