nice kill on the snakes, I remember a case a while back out here where some guy was hiking in the woods with his family, stumbled across a rattler decided it was best to kill it. The PETA folks had a field day and he may have even been charged with cruelty, now this was a guy who had small children with him. I would not think twice about dropping any predatory creature in the wild, legal or not. If I were out in the woods and happened apon a mountain lion and my kids were with me that cat would eat some 45. That may be wrong but I do not care AT ALL

I was a vegan for about 6 months. Not because I am opposed to eating meat, I just wanted to try it out and see what it was like. I lost a bunch of weight and got supper thin. Once I went to one good bar b q, it was over.

I think its generally a waste to kill something "for fun." However, if you eat it, use it for something, or if the animal causes problems in your area, kill away. Hence my comment about sticking the bat in a pita <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> Hey, bats may be yummy!
