I've noticed the same issues with USPS Priority Mail. Even when I use their software,I never actually know where a package is. Most of the time it takes a day for it to acknowledge that they have accepted the package. I have gone over to UPS and FedEx just for the sake of tracking.
Here's hoping your boxes come soon.

Ordered in the first few minutes, but no shipping confirmation yet. Not too worried though since I got the shipping notice in the cg's a few hrs after I took it out of my mailbox.

USPS is dicey...part of my job requires shipping many, many packages to radio stations. I can't tell you how many of the stations have received empty packages, that were clearly torn open, with a note inside that said something like 'content lost in transit" When I complained I was met with a shrug and me basically being told there's nothing they can do unless I want to take out insurance on every package I send (which is like 300 most weeks)
Anytime I send something now of extreme value...especially my knives I take out the insurance and delivery confirmation. It sucks that we have to pay extra to ensure that the USPS does the job we've paid them to do to begin with.

Now, take a deep breath, close your eyes, and imagine United States health care being run like the USPS. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

USPS has some issues for sure but many uses... i feel your frustration ... im still waiting on some things.... if you think this is nerve racking think about shipping glass..... on a weekly-daily basis .. and having to order most if not all your supplys... i lost 1000 bucks worth of opals to usps before....
i normaly ship UPS, Fedex and only USPS when requested , but it doesnt matter i have had issues with UPS and fedex in the past. also avoid ups or fedex freght ...
and if you ever do freight , make sure they stand there while you go threw it and make sure every thing is in working order....and then make sure you check it all off on the invoice. cause if ya dont ... its only on you.
btw i cant wait for my s5le!!! i been waiting sence the s5cg went off
