My guess is that there were about 700 - 750 max of the S5LE made. I ordered on the 2nd to the last day, and got # 664. The sales were open about 48 hours after I ordered my last one.

MustardMan-Your right I should do that, I had honestly not thought about sending the knife back to be sharpened by the same folks that sent it to me dull in the first place... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" />

Take care. You can always ask when ordering too, I believe they will sharpen it how you want. Otherwise you get the factory edge, which can take more abuse.
