Yes. I see what you're saying. I'm mistaking blade shape for pattern. The patterns between the Bushwacker Mistress and the DF are quite different. But the blade shapes between them are EXTREMELY similar. Granted the Dog Father has a square choil and a thumbramp. But round out the choil, remove the thumbramp, and satin finish the DF blade (as opposed to the DFLE blade . . . they have different grinds). Then then take a pic forward of the ricasso and other than their logos, I defy you to tell them apart.
The Dog Father has a steeper curve on the tip, and would be thicker.
But yes, the design similarities are there.
