I'd ask for the longer DF over a khukri only because the khukri is less of an all around blade.

I'd still buy one though. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

How about an SR-7 version of the Busse Combat Khukuri before the Busse one even comes out!

Yes! Yes! Yes! That would be a dream come true!

Yes. I see what you're saying. I'm mistaking blade shape for pattern. The patterns between the Bushwacker Mistress and the DF are quite different. But the blade shapes between them are EXTREMELY similar. Granted the Dog Father has a square choil and a thumbramp. But round out the choil, remove the thumbramp, and satin finish the DF blade (as opposed to the DFLE blade . . . they have different grinds). Then then take a pic forward of the ricasso and other than their logos, I defy you to tell them apart.

The Dog Father has a steeper curve on the tip, and would be thicker.
But yes, the design similarities are there.

True, but you don't have one of these yet!

I would go for a S4 or a Necker. I would even like to see a Muk. A good stainless like 154 or any of the newer ones sounds great to me. Slab handles for a change, or are those more expensive to make?

i 154cm skele-necker would be cool. coated. man that'd be cool.

Coated? Nooooo! Shiny! Since it's stainless, it would be a great knife to have shiny and purdy. Being close to your skin possibly, wouldn't have to worry about sweat and rust.

How about a mudder-handled version of the Graham Knives Razel style blades? I know some other manufacturers make similar "chisel tipped" knives, so hopefully it wouldn't be considered an outright ripoff.

Since Bussekin knives get called "sharpened prybars" all the time anyway, I say make a sharpened prybar with a scraper on the front and really take advantage of the toughness. This is one of the few short knives I wouldn't mind seeing in SR-77.

heh something about a chizels like that is i would like an exposed pomel to hammer on...

for the necker if its just gotta have a chole ... then make it atleast a bottle opener or a can opener... but no chole would be better to keep it tiny.... i only like the chole on bigger knives to change the ballancing point when working.... it really depends on the knife....

That Razel is pretty cool! The BK&T KA-BAR Tac Tool is very similar. This would be an ideal tool for SR-77.

MM i described a knife much like that for the knife design contest. I was thinking along the lines of a wilson combat/ boker cop tool though. I like to see it with an exposed glass breaker on the pommel.
