You're asking what I want next? Small 2-3" blade, no choil, similar shape to the GW, cornea searing blaze orange mudders. Sub $75 price tag.

Did somebody say black handled Scrap Muk!!!'
I'm kind of hoping for a bunch of SE's. Black Muk, satin Reg Bowie with green handle, some double cuts, choiless, maybe a few thinned down, and different colors like blade west. Chance for the ones we missed and variations of the ones we love. Satin Muk with black mudders would be the perfect pair up for my S5LE and adding a black handled BD and MP would be to much to pass up.
I think it would make for a really good Scrap Yard ganza to have a crap load of SE's. I know I want a black Muk (in case you can't tell) and something sage/green and something double cut/ brown...
Oh.... A CG Muk... Sage/brown Muk!!! Muddy Muk!!!! Sand Muk!!! Muk with orange handle.

The Dog Father has a steeper curve on the tip, and would be thicker. But yes, the design similarities are there. And that's just the beginning, of course. I could provide several more examples of knives with similar blade shapes between the companies. Two that immediately come to mind are the DM/RMD and the SoD/CT. Like geniuses who preceeded him, Jerry steals ideas from himself all the time. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> As the survey master, could you build a survey that captures the ideas of knives from this thread as well as other suggestions elsewhere on the forum. As you know I listen very carefully to the input from the Yard. I am finalizing the plans for FY 2009/2010 It sure would be good to know the thinking of the Dogs in a rank order so to speak Thanks for all the feedback and insight so far Thanks Dan

Quite honestly Dan, you can't go wrong with more Sr-77 big choppers 10"+. The Dog Father is what brought me and probably most of the other members to The Scrap Yard in the first place.
Thanks for listening Dan.

I'd still like to see a Hatchet/knife combo tool based around the old Swamprat Ratchet, something like this (I know it's as rough as a badgers backside but ya get the idea!), maybe a techy can do a better pic ! ![[Linked Image from i129.photobucket.com]](http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p236/denaleeguy/148420Ratchetwithsheath-1.jpg)

Out of personal, and selfish, demands; another large chopper for processing wood in winter conditions is needed for me. It is why I joined this forum and is why I stay in wait. However, I will buy whatever you decide to build because they are incredible knives. My first was the most recent and I have already put it through some paces. I do not collect and I refuse to profit. I do use knives daily. I will report my opinion on the utility of this knife after time has proven it to be superior.
