I'm not very picky. I'll be happy with a 13incher or a 3 incher <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />.

JYD #84 This is my rifle, and that is my SHTF Busse knife.

I for one would like to see a duel release, maybe say something old "Dog Father" along with something new <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> either that or 12-13 inch mega chopper would be nice <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

tell me about it, the good thing is really with the current business plan they could release something tomorrow and we wouldn't get charge for about 8 weeks so it gives us time to save, especially for the 12-13 inch chopper Dan is about to release...... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

The Dog Father has a steeper curve on the tip, and would be thicker.
But yes, the design similarities are there.
And that's just the beginning, of course. I could provide several more examples of knives with similar blade shapes between the companies. Two that immediately come to mind are the DM/RMD and the SoD/CT.

Like geniuses who preceeded him, Jerry steals ideas from himself all the time. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

As the survey master, could you build a survey that captures the ideas of knives from this thread as well as other suggestions elsewhere on the forum.

As you know I listen very carefully to the input from the Yard. I am finalizing the plans for FY 2009/2010

It sure would be good to know the thinking of the Dogs in a rank order so to speak

Thanks for all the feedback and insight so far

Thanks
Dan

Man, wouldn't it be great to see Dan's plans??? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> That would be gold!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

"Duel release" I wonder if that's feasible?

Most likely the Regulator will be next in line but I would also like to see the Dumpster Mutt released again with many color options like Bama Clay and such <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
