In any event, I have some thoughts and design concepts in mind, but unfortunately, my drawings are not really welcome.

Did I miss something? I know they didn't want pictures for the Design-a-Knife contest. But I'm not aware that drawings are generally forbidden.

I MUST be dumber than I have always thought I was, I thought the above no no's were just for the design contests, not something we had/have thought of.

HEY DAN, Is Drawings or photochops ok for "something I thought of" posts?

I'm in for a good SYKCO Chopper. The DFLE is still one of my very favorite blades, I look forward to any new Scrapper that has the potential to match it on my favorites list.

A thinner DFLE with a 12" blade would work pretty well as a machete, yet be rigid enough for batoning and chopping but light enough to swing all day in the bush. I really don't know why I bother to even worry about any of this at my age. Thirty minutes of machete work in this humidity and heat wilt me anyway. I just got in from clearing my big ditch out with a potato rake and using a machete to chop out roots and shrubs to get the water flowing. But the NE wind brought the tide in and now the water is flowing in instead of out. I quit for today. I can't fight the moon and the wind.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

I "could" be wrong and WAY off.

I am just going by quite a few little hints and pieces I have picked up around the various forums - Somewhat of a "feeling" from certain comments that has developed.

There have been quite a few indications from Jerry on the Busse forums that he gets annoyed with drawings, sketches, photo-chops and such.

Go find the posts where Jerry originally introduced the SAR concepts or the Muk protos on the Busse forums.

Maybe, my understanding on Jerry's view is skewed. I don't remember Jerry making a "Clear and concise" statement. So, I don't know for sure. But, again, it just seems I have picked up on multiple cases of Jerry getting a bit annoyed by drawings, sketches and photo-chops. So, I originally thought it was some sort of copyright issue and started putting disclaimers on my photo-chops saying Busse and companies had FULL rights to the designs or similar.

But, I kept getting the feeling that wasn't sufficient.

Based on what I "think" Jerry doesn't like, I should probably go and erase/delete all of the photo-chop concepts I have posted over the years. But, I haven't.

Instead, I just quit wasting my time trying to offer unwanted customer input.
