Im looking for a good sheath that I can wash out for my S5LE. This is going to be my go to outdoors knife which will be mainly used saltwater fishing, cutting up bait, etc. I want a kydex I think so that way I can just put a dirty knife away and then wash it out when I get home. I also want a clip for my waistband and a belt loop. I usually wear shorts without a belt so a clip is a must! Anyone know of anything out there for this?

thanks

Welcome to the Yard Yup!

We have a few sheath makers who post here. Check out buybrown and rainwalkercreations (google them)... Great guys who consistently make impressive sheaths. Rainwalker was looking into a aligator type clip for me but I haven't heard back from him yet. This might work for you but both of these guys have been open to suggestions and are very creative. I don't think it will be hard to find a solution to fit your needs with their help.

Sounds like the Spyderco G-clip might be a good answer for your needs. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I try to keep a few in stock and I make all my kydex compatible with them as well as many other options . <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Just let me know if I can help. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Lazi... I haven't forgot about you, I should be getting back with you on that soon. I'll find something that'll work. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

The spyderco G-clips are AWESOME! My lone Rainwalker kydex sheath came with one and I like it a lot. Much less bulky than a tek-lok.

I also have an attachment that uses the metal Gun holster clips, but the G-Clip would be a better choice around Saltwater IMHO. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I need to buy about 10 of those G-clips, but can never find anywhere online that sells 'em. I'd replace the tekloks on most of my sheaths.

Welcome to the yard.
I have seen one style that actually clips around a belt loop or will also clip into your front pocket. Something like you see on the expandable nylon maglite holders. If I can remember where I saw them I'll get it posted in here.
