That is why I prefer my long knives to be light like machetes. A Swiss Army Recruit and a DFLE or machete is all I need in the bush. But if I'm not going to need a machete then a good 5" or 6" blade along with my pocket knife can do it all.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Never knew the RC6 was so big! Looks like a brute too!

The RC-6 is just like the old Ontario RAT-7 only 1/2" shorter. It is only 3/16" thick, so it is light. It is even lighter than the Skinny ASH1. Now the RC-5 is a heavy beast of a knife with a 1/4" thick saber grind. It feels "bigger" than the RC-6.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Your S5le is pictured with an OD green sheath. Does that sheath fit the Scrapper5?

Sorry about the giant pictures - I have a 24" monitor so sometimes I don't realize. My pics look pretty small on my screen. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" />
