Thats a great point, and JYD`s are to be commended, but... in truth any who contributed to the the first 300,000 in 3 years should be eligible, that would be fair. Cant descriminate against those who wandered into the yard later than others or dont post as often as others. Sure you guys that post alot would have gotten to the 300,000/3 years in time anyway, but fair is fair. I'm not saying that just cause i'm new here, truth is i didnt wanna come across as a post hog as a newbie, and i would/will buy several patches/knives anyway. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I still think it is a great idea, and that most (probably all really) appreciate the offer.
I've worn my yard hat at gun/knife shows and it's generate some good conversations.

I said 100 but I think anything over that would be acceptable also. Something offered just to JYD's for their support and contributions would be cool as some others have mentioned...I think most JYDs would even pay for it. A JYD t-shirt, patch, etc. would be great.

KG puts up some VERY informative posts that have helped me gain knowledge that is hard to find. I Thank him for that <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />.There are many on the yard that share knowledge (Jim- Vic- Jeff- Chris- Tom-Ted -Paul-Mag etc) that has made my collecting a very enjoyable expierianace and I say " Thanks" for that <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />.KG goes out of his way to be very informative and I suppose that " some" might not like this. I suggest reading the part they enjoy and disregard the remainder <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />. I am sure that some of my posts piss some folks off and am sorry for that <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />. This is a place where we all can come and share many things and it is a very valuable thing IMO. Honestly, if it were my forum, this thread would've been enough to convince me to drop the whole patch idea all together.
IMHO this thread should be sent to internet oblivion before any more potential SY customers browse through here and get the wrong idea.
I would personally hate to be respinsible for causing any damage to Dan's good name and hard earned reputation by posting anything that could have remained in a PM or Email.
