It is just a DOGgone shame that this thread of incredibly good will from our Alpha Dog turned into a series of completely unnecessary outbursts.

I am taking no sides. I would tend to agree with Recon at this point, and hope that this thread gets a heavy dose of post editing at this point. Regardless of anyone's merit in the debate that happened, as a sticky topic, this thread has become one that nobody should be proud of at this point.

If good people disagree, just take the emotional parts of the debate offline. As CO reminded us, if something has been posted that is inflammatory, hit the little report button on that post.

Let me be very clear, this is a special thanks to those Dogs that have actively made this one of the best forums in our industry as well as a welcome to newer Dogs to jump in. Forums in general are a great source of information but in a lot of cases they are intimidating and reflect a hard socialist attitude to all but a few. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" /> We do not have that that kind of environment nor would I permit it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> We are a pack and we have each others backs. We welcome all members to participate, regardless of background, knowledge or tastes. For the record I am personally paying for these patches. They are not a company expense and I am not writing these off in any way. To be straight forward, this is biting into my personal bourbon, cigar and gun (ammo) fund. But I cannot think of what could be better than to tell each of you "thanks" and for being there/here and making this place the thing that I most look forward to.
