to be honest with you that look way nicer than mine but I think my materials might be better. Like I said I don't know how to identify materials very well but that thing is sturdy and heavy.

I saw some of the failures of the SRK and thought I needed something that would not fail me in the backwoods. Thats how I came across the Bussekin knives from knifetest.com and nos. I knew I had to have one when I actually saw the hard proof that everyone who make knives claim to have.

But I have to say my SRK has not broke (no tough use) But peace of mind is always better to have.
