I have never been to Germany but my Grandpop was in the 101st Airborne "Band of Brothers Company" and he used to tell me of how he wanted to go back Germany before he died since it was such a beautiful country. She lives back in the states and I am stationed in Germany. She is going to fly here for 8 days in Nov and I obtained a pass for a long weekend. We are going to Edelweiss lodge and resort in Garmisch-Partenkirchen in the Bavarian Alps. It should be a whole lotta fun, this is a truly beautiful piece of country. Ill post pics afterwards. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> I don't know if you've ever been in that part of the country but it's very nice. We went over for Oktoberfest last year and spent a couple of days in Garmisch and Oberammergau. Have fun! Inside each knife is a new adventure waiting to be had...maybe some blood and probably some suture.
