Hey dawgs, I'm looking for a new watch and was wondering what others here wear as well as what you would like to have if you were to purchase a new watch...

I am looking at some Seiko's and this one for now:
http://www.nitewatchesusa.com/viewdetails.asp?ID=122

Recommendations welcome...

It needs to have a metal band, date and time, luminescent for seeing time in the dark, less than $800 and have a decent warranty. No cheap knockoffs or walmart specials.

Thanks!

I was gonna say get a rolex submariner (I've had mine since 1988 and it was a used 4 year old then). STILL works great, but then I say your price cap. BTW I HATE electric watches! Would much rather have a self winder or a manual (like the Rolex date just I bought for $50.00!!! No, it's not a knock off, it's real. Got it off an Old retired Air Force Msgt who bought it new in Panama back in 1955! And it still works great

Similar Andy but different. That person was asking about a good everyday watch for under $150.

I'm asking what watches people like at any price and for recommendations if they have any that are under $800.

Thanks.

If I was spending that coin I would certainly pick one of these watches up.

MK II Blackwater. It does not meet your requirements as there is no metal band. If I were buying a watch, this would be it....when it can be had.

Inside each knife is a new adventure waiting to be had...maybe some blood and probably some suture.

Cool, thanks guys. Another requirement for me is that it is analog - I'm not a fan of digitals.

I have a Seiko Chronograph it's really nice but for the price I paid ($450) I really dont wear it enough. I cant seem to get into the habit of wearing a watch.

I just love this watch. I have had it for 3 years now and it takes everything I can throw at it. You can get them with an all black bezel as well if you want. Best of all this one has a TANK of a movement for an automatic. Its really tough to beat this watch up. Only complaint is the mineral crystal, however there are tons of places that will up grade you to sapphire crystal for less than 50 bucks.
