MM,
What's your favorite handle color combo with the Bama Clay?

Man, I am still trying to talk myself into one. I just got the CGFBM and I love it, got the DDF and love it too. Why now?

i may be alone on this, but i think if i didn't already own all those other 9-10" busse kin bowies, i wouldn't want this one as much. i don't wanna be 'missing one.'

I'm curious about the lighter weight effect on performance, but it will be to late to order 1 before any real world testing.

I was looking real hard at a CGFBM, then I stumbled on the BWBM just in time. The FBM's will still be there for me down the road.

probably not, as we usually get more from the company store down the road. if you want one just the way you want, order now. if you can be flexible about the options, you can wait.

I dig the tan canvas micarta a lot. The tan canvas on my NMSFNO is really light, but the tan on my FSH in the picture above is a pretty dark, almost red color. Both are pretty sweet.

Black canvas would probably look good too - I like micarta in general for big users. I've seen pics of orange/black G10 on bama clay too, and they looked pretty dang sweet.

micarta's appeal is broadening. CF Martin is using it for fretboards and bridges.
