Man, I am still trying to talk myself into one. I just got the CGFBM and I love it, got the DDF and love it too. Why now?

Man, I am still trying to talk myself into one. I just got the CGFBM and I love it, got the DDF and love it too. Why now? i may be alone on this, but i think if i didn't already own all those other 9-10" busse kin bowies, i wouldn't want this one as much. i don't wanna be 'missing one.'

I'm curious about the lighter weight effect on performance, but it will be to late to order 1 before any real world testing.

I was looking real hard at a CGFBM, then I stumbled on the BWBM just in time. The FBM's will still be there for me down the road.

MM, What's your favorite handle color combo with the Bama Clay? I dig the tan canvas micarta a lot. The tan canvas on my NMSFNO is really light, but the tan on my FSH in the picture above is a pretty dark, almost red color. Both are pretty sweet. Black canvas would probably look good too - I like micarta in general for big users. I've seen pics of orange/black G10 on bama clay too, and they looked pretty dang sweet.

micarta's appeal is broadening. CF Martin is using it for fretboards and bridges.
