Looks good and most def a nice score. The girth of the FSH is slowly growing on me but I'd still rather have a Mojo of Mofo.
If you can find time to do a comparison between the FSH and Mojo I'd really appreciate the info. The only comments i've seen are from a while back.

The NMSFNO with a good convex edge is a joy to use. I can't think of any 8" knives that can stay with it.
The FSH is sold as an 8" knife, although it's got a bit more length than the NMSFNO. More importantly, it's a heavy, thick, beast of a knife. In terms of pure chopping power, even with the factory edge it has my NMSFNO with a convex edge pretty handily beat. The NMSFNO doesn't give me Busse Pinky though, so it still wins Don't have a FSH. But my convexed NMSFNO out chops my Ratweiler, Chopweiler, Hudson Bay Camp, Entrek Destroyer, Ranger RD7 (which has an 8" blade) and SOD.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

There's no comparison. The mojo is THIN and full flat ground. A saber ground mofo might compare somewhat to the FSH, but the mojo has almost no chopping power. It's light and fast in the hand, with a balance like a fighter. The FSH is majorly blade heavy with a huge, thick, nasty blade. I like the mojo a whole lot, but it's honestly one of my less practical blades. One place where I imagine it would be VERY nice is machete-type tasks where a light balance is beneficial. The recurve should snag vines and brush and force them into the edge for some wicked slashing. The FSH is way too heavy in the hand for this kind of work - it's a chopper plain and simple. Two very different blades which have very different functions. If I eventually wear the coating off my mojo, I think it might need a trip to the spa for a new paint job. Wonder what color I would choose....

Thanks... Pretty much what I figured you'd say. All I heard was "get the recurve BM" though. Beefy recurve like that would cure me of wanting a FSH I think. Maybe I'll be the lucky guy to score one at a show some day. In Bama clay of course...

It takes a big man to carry a pink knife. It takes an even bigger man to make fun of that man.

Stop all that talk of the NMSFNO. I have been looking at them too much lately.

I think "Bama Clay" looks terrible! It is like an old rusty knife. Maybe the pics don't do it justice but Bama Clay would be a deal breaker if I were going to buy.
