different colors for the s6 would be nice. i'd take a black on black as mine is a tan version.

This sounds good to me! Some of you do have a good point about a 6" being too close to the last offering, though. Hmmm... I guess we'll just wait and see what Dan brings to the bowl!

honestly, the 6" blade has little appeal to me. i'm the type who prefers the outer ranges (less than three, greater than nine) of blade lengths. my ash-1 has never seen use and even the 7-8" blades make me feel encumbered doing fine work and underpowered for the chop.

I would go for 6,5"-7.5" and a big belly. and teh same Res-C handle as the S6. What maybe would be nice is a "combat knife" 7" or up, and an edge on the back till half.

i don't know bruce. dan puts out a SY skelly in sr101 for a price point of say 35 - 40. sell them till the cows come home. I'd be in on that way more then a 6" offering
