there had been some discussion about a copy of the maxpedition jumbo that was a bit cheaper. i saw that 5.11 has a version out now but i thought there was another version as well.
any help?

normally i'd agree, but i just need a man bag to carry toys, not a back woods tool. and for 25$ that's quite a difference.

I suppose that if it wasn't good, it wouldn't be copied.
Have seen on the dish network chinese knife show (with the loud guy in the plaid shirt) that some of these are starting to look a lot like Busse knives.
These only run about $15 a piece, but I wouldn't buy one.
Let the buyer beware, I guess.

The 5.11 stuff that I saw didn't use as nice of materials. They do have nice stuff though.
