It has that pitman, pitdog look! I like yours a lot better than Tom Brown's idea.

Interesting looking design. If it works for your purposes, then that's what counts. Definitley would like to hear your thoughts after some use.

It's pretty cool watching something go from paper to steel. Sweet deal P.

Seems to be pretty useful.

I would add a little length to the tang for a prying surface, but my opinion and $3 will get you a coffee.

Don't get me wrong, the knife looks well made, and pit should be proud of his design.
For myself I would rather have something along the lines of a modified skinng axe or ulu.
It is probably the result of growing up using hatches and axes is all

Horn Dog took the words right out of my mouth: it looks like a better executed Tracker than Tom Browns' tracker!

The main problem with the Tracker is it's excessively thick stock (1/4")and thick grind. I'm hoping that using 3/16" stock on my Knatchet and the thin convex blade profile it will still slice and dice great as well as chop ! We'll see !!!!

That looks very sweet Pit.
I have a Golok Petok that looks very similar, although much shorter.
Works great in the kitchen as well as for chopping.

Good looking survival tool!
