@ Recon1: Your assault pack looks great with the patch ! What gear is on and in it? Wich knives you got on there.... LMF II & CS Spear point machete modded to a cane knife style 13" chopper. There really isn't too much stuff inside. Mostly what I listed previously and a little room for whatever else like a change of clothes, sleep system and hydro-bladder. where did you get the spectra thread? Bass Pro Shops online. It's meant to be braided fishing line but it works great for snares, triplines, shelter construction, etc. Either the Specrta (spiderwire) or the Stren Kevlar will work. The Spectra seems to fray less so I generally keep plenty of that around. It also comes in green so it's practically invisible in the bush.
