You did GOOD! I filed my original DD214 with the county courthouse and will always be able to get a copy if needed.

He's a PCA (Private Citizen Again)! Congrats palmer. Glad to hear you registered your 214 with the court. I did mine as well and have had to take advantage of it 2 or 3 times. Sure beats trying to remember where you put it so you wouldn't forget where you put it!

Never made it to Lewston, but I spent 2 years at Mt. Home AFB. Beautiful country. If I had my druthers, I WOULD live out west somewhere. Picking a somewhere though would prove to be a problem, with all the great places to choose from. Best of luck on you new life.
