great score on the LE. I had my S5CG out last weekend and it made a great deer knife.

The S5LE is a fantastic knife. Extremely versitile. I've noticed that fewer are showing up on the secondary now. Seems like these are becoming real users, as so they should. Once people get one in their hand, its pretty hard to pry loose!

Knives are meant to be used, aren't they ?

On my budget I don't buy knives I don't think I'll use, or at least be able to make a good excuse for when my wife sees a knife she does not recognize

So I'll never buy a sword... (but that's just me. Horndog seems to have found a use for his Waki).

SkunkHunter (cool name, our dogs like to hunt skunks too - apparently that spray is not a deterrent. One of my wife's lead dogs cornered one against an old barn and when it sprayed him in the face, he just closed his eyes and kept chomping ) - but I digress... thanks for the water bucket warmer tip. We have electric in the barn/giant dog house, but it gets really cold (-20F this morning), we have 12 stalls in a large unheated barn, each with a 2 gal bucket (in warmer weather). So we just put lots of water on their food 2X per day and give them water at least one other time per day. With enough fresh snow, it is not an issue anyway. But thanks anyway for the suggestion.

The Scrapper 5LE is one sexy knife. I use mine in the kitchen daily. No case queen knives in my house
