Andy- I see your yellow handled Spyderco in H1. How do you like it?

It's great!

I was wondering about the long term resistance to rusting on that steel.

It's not rust resistant, it's rust PROOF. You'd sooner get plastic to rust. There's no carbon in it.

OK, seems as HALF the Holy Grail in knives has been found. Now if they can only figure out how to make it NEVER get dull.

My first one (I now have two) cleaned up three deer a couple years ago before I felt like it needed to be sharpened.

Rinsing the blood off in the nearest puddle, then putting it right back in your pocket until next time without a care in the world is a special kind of satisfying as well.

Who is a good online vendor (cheap) for lights that you have used?

Depends on what lights you want. Batteryjunction.com has pretty good prices from what I've seen.

Many light vendors offer discounts to candlepowerforums.com members. If you go over and sign up for the CPF marketplace website, under the "vendor" section there is a sticky thread with a list of coupon codes for various flashlight sellers.

What kind of discounts are over at CPF? 10%

I find amazon.com has some great deals on flashlights, most that are around and over $50.00 offer free shipping

Same here...A couple of G2's and a G3 with a Malkoff dropin.

That and a few Surefire battery holders and I'm good to go.

I have the Maratac 3a from Countycomm and really like it. The 3 light levels give me plenty of options for MY edc lighting needs. Can't complain.

Well, I was hoping to be able to talk about the flashlight I ordered by now. Looks like it may have become lost in the mail.

Hopefully I can get my money back somehow, and soon.
