My Fenix PD20 got lost in the mail last week! Not impressed...

How do you like the clicky tail cap on the M2XC4? I think I'll install mine because I keep accidentally turning it on and killing the batteries.

I scored a Peak El Capitan for yesterday, #8 narrow head. Great light and they are 4 miles from my house, a nice bonus.

NB GSXR,

I like the clicky tail much more than the original. It feels right. I read somewhere that it takes like 20 minutes to install so, I was a little hesitant. If it takes others 20 minutes to do it usually takes me much longer. But, I was happy that it took about five minutes. It was just four screws out, old cap out, put washer in new cap, new cap in, four screws in and you're good to go. Could not have been easier.

I also like the ability to go straight to high mode from off. With the other cap, you could only use the ring and have to hit all the modes from low to high.

+1 for the Novatac. Very well made and simple to use.

ive never tried any of those they look nice though. i usually carry my surefire g2 with led. its real bright and lasts about 10 to 12 hours on a set of batteries.

Same here...A couple of G2's and a G3 with a Malkoff dropin.

That and a few Surefire battery holders and I'm good to go. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

i hadnt seen those heads before they look pretty good though, how do you like it? I bought surefires led bulb for it, i like it so far its held up well and it went from 1 hr two 10ish on a set of bateries, that was nice.

I am very happy with the Malkoff dropin's. They have a solid brass construction to dissipate heat and the run times and brightness are a lot better than stock.
